Walk from downtown Mount Airy to Watkins Park along the Rails 2 Trails Walking Path. It’s a quarter mile walk through blasted rock along the old railroad right-of-way. Year-round charm includes the one-mile walking trail, basketball court, playgrounds with swing set, large pavilion, tennis courts, volleyball court, and sports fields. It’s also home to a new inclusive playground! Across the street is Knill’s Farm Market, open May to October with fresh produce.

Airy Lanes is now offering a wide menu for carryout, too! Rock and Bowl is on Saturday nights from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
